Ivy Cottage is a late 19th Century ground floor cottage set in an ideal location on the edge of Windermere village in a tranquil woodland setting with walks from the door. A few minutes away can be found spectacular views of lake Windermere and the Southern Lakeland fells.



Open plan living room and kitchen. The cosy sitting area has exposed lakeland stone fireplace housing a traditional style cast iron stove. The ground floor bedroom with quality pine furnishings, and shower room complete this delightful holiday retreat.



A host of wildlife visits the immediate area around the cottage, including red squirrels, deer and over 70 different species of birds.


The twin villages of Windermere and Bowness, and the lake with all its leisure activities are easily reached, as are a vast variety of restaurants and traditional pubs. Other popular attractions include Beatrix Potter Museum, Cinema, Theatre and the Aquarium of the Lakes.
