North Cottage is a sympathetically created extension of the original period lodge, our former family home, which has now become a most endearing one bedroom cottage, furnished and carpeted to a quality that will be appreciated by our discerning guests. Enter a small hallway with space for outdoor clothing. A spacious beamed lounge, with living flame gas stove tempts you to relax and enjoy the views over the garden through the feature picture window. Stairs take you down to a very spacious ensuite bedroom with luxury shower-room. Beyond this is a pleasant fully fitted dining kitchen. A shared wild flower garden awaits you with gurgling stream and visiting deer and squirrels.

North Cottage is only a few minutes from the Lake where you can take a trip on the car ferry across to Beatrix Potter country or wander beside the lake to Bowness Bay and take one of the many cruises.

The village centre is a short walk from the bay with its fine selection of individual shops, restaurants, theatre and cinema. All you could possibly want for the perfect holiday.
