Rowan Cottage is a late 19th Century cottage style first floor apartment set in an ideal location on the edge of Windermere village in a tranquil woodland setting with walks from the door. A few minutes away can be found spectacular views of lake Windermere and the Southern Lakeland fells.



The entrance hallway and staircase lead to the apartment with delightful open plan living space. The comfortable sitting area has wonderful views, and exposed lakeland stone fireplace housing a traditional style cast iron stove.



A spacious attractive ensuite master bedroom with quality pine furnishings, corner bath and wc complete this charming holiday retreat.



A host of wildlife visits the immediate area around the cottage, including red squirrels, deer and over 70 different species of birds.



For those who can bear to leave this peaceful haven the twin villages of Windermere and Bowness are close at hand with superb restaurants and pubs, theatre, cinema, gift shops and the lake with all it has to offer.
