This charming stone cottage is set in the centre of the picturesque village of Sedgwick close to the bustling medieval market town of Kendal, gateway to the Lakes.


Dating back to 1850 and retaining many original features it has been transformed into a cosy holiday retreat. An impressive original door takes you from the small entrance porch into an inviting sitting room with unusual feature windows, pine cupboards and comfortable soft furnishings, a wonderful place to dine and relax. A small kitchen has all the equipment needed to prepare good family meals. A winding staircase takes you up to the double and twin bedrooms, furnished in pine, together with bathroom.


Nearby delight in the historic splendour of Levens Hall and Sizergh Castle. Closer to home meander quiet country lanes or just relax by the village cricket ground.
